About

Three generations in stones.
The first to set them.

A small jewellery house working with genuine gemstones — chosen loose, set by hand, one piece at a time, in 925 silver and 2 micron 18K gold plating.

Why rings

My family sold stones. Nobody ever wore them.

Three generations of my family have handled gemstones — brokered, cut, calibrated, sold on by the parcel. Beautiful stones, and every one of them left the building in an envelope, on its way to somebody else's ring.

That is the ordinary shape of the trade, and it never stopped bothering me. I grew up around stones no one in the family had ever seen finished. AbNoor exists to close that gap: the same stones, kept, and set.

Rings first because a ring is the piece you look at most — the one you catch sight of during the day rather than only in a mirror. If a stone is going to be worn instead of stored, that is where it should go.

The name
Ab Hindi · now
Noor Urdu · light

Now, and light. Named after my parents.

One

Stones chosen loose

Every stone is selected unset, from the same gemstone trade my family has worked in for three generations. Nothing arrives pre-mounted.

Two

Set by hand

Each stone is matched to its mount and set one at a time. Prongs, bezels and beading are closed by hand, then checked piece by piece

Three

Made after you order

Nothing sits in stock. Your ring is finished in the metal and size you chose, then sent in the signature blush box.

Materials
925 Silver

Solid sterling silver, rhodium-plated so it keeps its Shine. The option that lasts, in a precious metal.

Gold Plated

A 2 micron 18K gold plating layer over solid sterling silver — the warmest finish, and the one shown in our photographs.

A small first drop.

Small on purpose — every piece is one I would wear myself. More are being set now.
