Chevron Pear Ring
A pear-cut stone set on the diagonal, with the shank breaking into a chevron beneath it. The angle is the whole design: set straight, this becomes an ordinary pear ring.
Blue topaz is the original — cool, clean, and hard enough at 8 Mohs to take daily wear. Also made in amethyst, citrine, rainbow moonstone and labradorite; each one changes the ring more than you would expect from a single stone swap.

Take it off before washing your hands, swimming, or sleeping — water and friction dull a setting faster than wear does.
Keep perfume, hairspray and cleaning products away from the stone; scent settles into the mount and clouds it.
Wipe with a dry, soft cloth after wearing.
Store it in the blush box it arrived in, away from other pieces — harder stones scratch softer ones.
