Bubble Band Ring
A row of gold beads, each one a little larger than the last, rising along the band until they meet the stone. Four prongs hold an oval of 8 by 10 millimetres above them.
Nothing on this ring is flat. That is why it picks up light from any angle, and why it sits easily against the fingers either side of it — there is no edge to press.
It is larger on the hand than it looks here. The stone runs close to three and a quarter carats, and the band thickens as it climbs, so the whole piece reads as one shape rather than a stone set on a plain shank.
Black onyx is the sharpest of the three — polished flat against all that curve, it throws the beads into relief. Rainbow moonstone does the opposite and moves as your hand moves. Citrine sits between them, warm enough to read as part of the gold.

Take it off before washing your hands, swimming, or sleeping — water and friction dull a setting faster than wear does.
Keep perfume, hairspray and cleaning products away from the stone; scent settles into the mount and clouds it.
Wipe with a dry, soft cloth after wearing.
Store it in the blush box it arrived in, away from other pieces — harder stones scratch softer ones.
