Before you order

Ring size guide

Every ring is made to order in the size you choose, so it is worth two minutes to measure. You need a strip of paper or thread and a ruler.

Find your size

The length of paper or thread that went once around your finger.

Enter a measurement to see your size.
Two ways to measure

Measure your finger

Gives circumference
  1. 1Wrap a thin strip of paper or thread around the base of the finger you will wear the ring on.
  2. 2Mark where it overlaps. It should be snug, but able to slide over your knuckle.
  3. 3Lay it flat on a ruler and read the length in millimetres. Enter it above as Around the finger.

Use a ring you own

Gives diameter
  1. 1Choose a ring that fits the same finger well — the most accurate method of the two.
  2. 2Lay it on a ruler and measure straight across the inside, edge to edge — not the metal.
  3. 3Enter that figure above as Across a ring.

Indian sizes differ by about a size between jewellers, so a measurement in millimetres is always the safer guide.

Getting it right

  • Measure at the end of the day — fingers are fullest in the evening and when warm.
  • Between two sizes, choose the larger.
  • Wider bands sit tighter — go up half a size.
  • Measure twice. A thread that stretches will read small.
